    What we collect

    • Usage analytics. Data about pages visited, referral sources, device type and approximate region, collected through Google Analytics to help us improve the site.
    • Advertising data. On selected content pages, Google and its advertising partners may receive information such as your IP address, browser or device identifiers, the page being viewed and ad interactions so they can deliver, measure and protect ads.
    • Search queries. Terms typed into the on-site search may be logged in aggregate to identify content gaps.
    • Emails you send us. If you email hello@planrio.com, we keep your message so we can reply and follow up.

    We do not sell your personal data. PlanRio may show Google AdSense ads on selected articles. Where consent is required, the use of advertising and analytics technologies follows the choice you make in our privacy message.

    Cookies

    PlanRio uses cookies and similar storage for essential site functionality, analytics and—on selected pages—advertising. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use advertising cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to PlanRio or other websites. If you book after clicking one, the partner may pay us a small commission at no extra cost to you, and may store a cookie identifying PlanRio as the referrer.     Your choices

    • You can review or withdraw your advertising and analytics consent at any time using .
    • In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, a Google-certified consent message is shown before a pilot ad is requested. If you do not consent, PlanRio does not request that ad.
    • You can block cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
    • You can ask us to delete any personal correspondence by emailing hello@planrio.com.
    • EEA and UK visitors have rights under applicable data-protection law—email us to exercise them.

    Children

    PlanRio is a general-audience travel guide and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
