    • You may not republish full articles, scrape the site at scale, or use our content to train commercial AI models without written permission.

    Rio changes constantly. We work hard to keep guides accurate (see our editorial standards) but we make no warranty that any specific price, opening hour, transport route, safety condition or recommendation is current or applies to your situation. Always cross-check anything critical to your trip.

    Safety information

    Safety content on PlanRio — including the safety map, nightlife guides and neighborhood risk notes — is based on our best current understanding of Rio de Janeiro. It is general guidance, not personalised advice. You are responsible for your own safety decisions and for following official guidance from your government and local authorities.
